The Powdered Sugar Movie - A work in progress. This is a film from last summer of dusting a hive with powdered sugar. We are going to keep adding new film and updating it when we get a chance.
Measuring 2 cups powdered sugar per hive (2 brood boxes).
Make sure the powdered sugar is dry.
Sift carefully to keep the sugar inside the supers.
Use the entire two cups over the brood boxes.
Bees flying in are instantly covered with sugar.
Gently brush the sugar between the frames.
Bees become coated with powdered sugar.
